Youth Committee
We have a new committee of three youths who are Ambassadors to the WCL and the Waupaca High School Trap Club. They are Brady Rhodes - Junior, Rylee Nelson - Sophomore, and Matthew Schmidt - Freshman. They will serve a one-year term.
Annual Membership 2023
Annual family memberships remain at $45.00. Membership includes spouse, and children through 17 years of age. If a child turns 18 years of age during the membership year, they are covered till the end of the year. Memberships are valid from January 1st to December 31st.
Summer Trap League
Meeting for STL is set for Wednesday, April 12th at 7:00PM. Fees will be established the night of the meeting. STL starts on Wednesday May 3 rd. Any 5 shooters may form a team. Must be signed up by April 12th. Memberships are required for regular and sub shooters. Family membership applies.
Practice Trap and Skeet Information
Adult target fee is $4.50 for 25 targets, youth through 15 years of age, $3.00 for 25 targets. Current shot shell price is $9.00 for 12 & 20ga. Shells will be sold to those shooting in Leagues, practice, or during League events. March 29ththrough April 26th, we will be open on Wednesday’s starting at 5:00PM. On May 2nd, through August 29th. we will be open on Tuesday’s starting at 5;00PM
Sight-in Range
New rules covering the use of the sight in range are in progress. As soon as completed, the rules will be posted on the WCL website, range bulletin board, and emailed to members with current email addresses.
Forklift Fundraiser
We have purchased a used donkey fork lift for $8000.00, and it is paid for in full, through the generous donations we received from several members!! We have put it to use already and will continue to get years of use from of it.
2023 Second Quarter Calendar
April 12th; Summer Trap League Meeting. 7;00PM
April 22nd; Spring clean up/work day. 9:00AMvuntil?? Lunch will be served at noon. Can’t make it all day? Come for a couple hours. More info will follow as to equipment needs, etc.
April 25thMonthly Meeting and Dinner. Dinner served at 6:00PM, meeting at 7;00PM. All members welcome.
April 29th; Comet Clay Crushers Fundraiser/Trap Shoot. Flyer will be emailed.
May 2nd; Tuesday night practice begins.
May 3rd, Summer Trap League Starts
May 23rd; Annual fish fry & monthly meeting. Dinner at 6;00pm, meeting at 7:00
June 24th; Youth Trap Shoot; In planning stage
June 27th; Monthly Meeting; 7:00PM
