YOUTH COMMITTEE 

The Youth Committee reports on progress with their activities and projects at each monthly meeting. Serving on the Committee are Rylee Nelson, Matthew Schmidt, and Garrett Grundman. 

SUMMER TRAP LEAGUE

STL ended with another successful season of fun shooting. Our top 3 teams this season ere; Christensen Home Decorators, Johnson Auto Body, and Tabers Country Inn. Thanks goes to our dedicated trap shooters and our team sponsors! 

Practice Trap & Skeet Fields 

Adult target fee is $4.50 for 25 targets, youth through 15 years of age, $3.00 for 25 targets. Current shot shell price is $9.00 for 12 & 20ga. Shells will be sold to those  shooting in Leagues, practice, or during League events. We are open on  Wednesday nights to October 23rd, starting at 5:00PM. We have 4 trap fields with lights, 4 skeet fields, 2 with lights. Open to the public. 

SIGHT IN RANGE  

Rules covering the use of the sight in range are posted on the range bulletin  board. Range use is on the increase with various season opening soon. As a  reminder, paper targets only. Pick up your empty casings, targets and dispose of  them in the dumpsters. Word of caution to members using the range. Check your ammo to ensure you have the correct cartridges for your firearms. There have  been mishaps on the range in the past with wrong ammo.  Muzzle loading firearms should be checked to ensure they are not loaded prior to coming to the range. Put the red range flag up on arrival, and if the last person leaving the range, take it down.  

NOTICE

A nominating committee will be appointed to prepare a slate of officers and directors to be presented at the November meeting and voted on at the Annual Meeting. Officers include President, First and Second Vice Presidents, and 3 Board members. Leaving the Board this term are Jon Peotter, Jacob Fries and Pat McClone. 

CALENDAR OF EVENTS

October 22nd; Monthly Meeting at 7:00PM 

October 23rd; Last night for practice trap and skeet shooting.  

November 16th; ANNUAL PRE DEER-SEASON SIGHT IN CLINIC, 9;00AM TO 4;30PM.  A fee of $7,00 per firearm will be charged to all attending, members included. We supply targets, spotting scopes, lead sled, and assistance. DO NOT BRING LOADED FIREARMS TO THE RANGE.  

November 19th; Monthly meeting, 7:00PM 

December 10th: Annual Meeting; Dinner ready to serve at 6:00PM, meeting and  election of officers and 3 new directors at 7:00PM. Door prize raffle to follow. All  members are welcome to attend.
